Oriental Meteorite — About us

Oriental Meteorite — About us

Across billions of years of silence, meteorites journey from the cosmos to Earth, carrying a glimmer of time and a blessing of fortune and energy. Oriental Meteorite crafts fine jewelry using genuine meteorites as the core material, fusing the rigor of space science with the poetry of design. We trace the stellar grain of iron meteorites, awaken the dawn-like warmth of pallasites, and shape the spiritual resonance of Libyan Desert Glass, Tektites (Leigong Mo), and Moldavite—allowing every piece to retain the breath of the universe. Our design philosophy is not to replicate celestial bodies, but to echo their trajectories.

We honor natural Widmanstätten patterns and rarity, embracing restraint and timelessness to present the elemental aesthetics of meteorites, transforming an eons-long cosmic voyage into an experience for everyday wear.

We believe the value of meteorite jewelry goes beyond adornment to witnessing and remembrance: it records a rebirth upon arrival and accompanies each wearer through time, becoming a talisman of starlit good fortune. Our materials are rigorously selected with transparent standards. Every piece comes with an authoritative certificate, reflecting the collectible value of precious extraterrestrial metals.

Oriental Meteorite draws on two professional institutions located in China’s meteorite-rich regions: the “Fukang Star” Aerospace Meteorite Science Center and the Oriental Universe Meteorite Science Museum. Northwestern China accounts for over 80% of the nation’s meteorite finds and connects to Mongolia, Russia, and Kazakhstan. We maintain close cooperation with meteorite hunters across Northwest China and Central Asia.

The Oriental Universe Meteorite Science Museum serves as a vice-chair unit of the Meteorite Committee of the China Ornamental Stone Association and is a member of the Urumqi Association for Science and Technology. It provides professional capabilities in public science education, research, and identification, and has been recognized as an official Xinjiang Science Popularization Education Base.

The “Fukang Star” Aerospace Meteorite Science Center, covering approximately 2,000 square meters, was established by Xinjiang Communications Investment Group in collaboration with the Oriental Meteorite Science Center. Its collection includes slices of the “Fukang meteorite,” one of the world’s top three meteorites, as well as “Divine Eagle,” a premier Chinese specimen. “Fukang Star” has been designated an Autonomous Region–level Youth Science and Technology Education Base and is the only project in Northwest China shortlisted by the China Highway and Transportation Society’s National Transportation-Tourism Integration Innovation Program, having received more than 35,000 science education visitors to date.

Oriental Meteorite has established a trading company in the Netherlands and supplies meteorite specimens to globally renowned institutions, including the Geological Society of London, the Natural Science Museum of the University of Kent (UK), and the Mineralogical Museum in Hamburg, Germany. We are an exhibitor at the Chenzhou Mineral & Gem Show in China, and our Etsy shop has earned Star Seller recognition. Our core team includes members of the Meteoritical Society and certified meteorite jewelry appraisers accredited by NGTC (China National Gemstone Testing Center) in China.
