The "Fukang Star" Aerospace Meteorite Science Museum is located in the Fukang Service Area, Xinjiang's first cultural and tourism demonstration service area along the highway. Covering an area of 1,212 square meters, the museum is a significant achievement of Xinjiang Jiaotou Group's commitment to implementing the regional "Tourism-Driven Xinjiang" strategy. By integrating highway services with local tourism and cultural innovation, the museum serves as a cornerstone of the "Transportation + Tourism" brand.

 

At the heart of the museum lies the "Fukang Meteorite," one of the world's three most renowned meteorites, originating from the Fukang region. The museum highlights this national treasure's return as its central theme, combining China's aerospace knowledge with the fascinating evolution of meteorites. The museum's state-of-the-art facilities include various themed areas such as Interstellar Voyage, Meteorite Hunting Academy, Energy Experience, Meteorite Family, Time-Space Tunnel, Cosmic Origins, Space Capsule, Journey Through the Universe, and Solar System Exploration.

Equipped with cutting-edge installations, the museum offers:

  • A stunning cosmic light and shadow interactive wall,

The Russian Seymchan Pallasite Meteorite—"Tianxin Star" was awarded the Special Prize at the "10th China Xinjiang International Ornamental Stone and Hetian Jade Exhibition."

 

 The Argentine Iron Meteorite—"Messenger of the Cosmos" was awarded the Special Gold Prize at the "5th National Stone Appreciation Day · Literary Stone Appreciation—'China Stone Catalogue' Launch, 'Treasure' 10th Anniversary Commemorative Stone Appreciation Exhibition."

In July 2022, it was awarded the "2022 National Transportation and Tourism Integration Innovation Project."
